Evolution of a Worshipper

The February 2008 edition of Christianity Today has been sitting around the parsonage for a while because of its cover article, The Future Lies in the Past: Why Evangelicals are Connecting with the Early Church as They Move into the 21st Century. The article is a great read and explains how other Protestants – especially young Protestants – are finding historic, liturgical worship beneficial. What I hadn’t previously noticed in that edition was a little cartoon on page eight that humorously makes the same point. So here it is (click the picture to get a larger view). Enjoy!

  1. What is the guy second from the right listening to?

  2. And why is he all of the sudden wearing glasses? Maybe he’s started to read his bible a lot.
