WELStock from an LCMS perspective

I just received a follow-up letter from the WELS Commission on Worship office regarding July’s National Conference on Worship, Music, and the Arts, the event I affectionately call “WELStock.”  The letter contained some of the comments that conference participants wrote on their evaluation forms.  Interestingly, the letter briefly mentioned an LCMS blog that also had high praise for WELStock.  Since I’ve been busy with several other tasks lately and unable to post much during the last few weeks, I thought I’d share these posts with you.  It’s certainly encouraging to see that WELS is making good strides forward in solid and vibrant Lutheran worship.  Even the constructive criticisms given at this link are quite reasonable, and offer some helpful advice for making the conference better.  Here are links and direct addresses for the aforementioned blog posts:
